IBO-Nederland

IBO organizes international volunteer projects with local NGOs and non-profit organizations around the world. We do this to help improve people's living conditions and to bring volunteers from all over the world together for a real meeting. Before you know it, you will be building classrooms or water storage in Uganda, experiencing self-sufficient life in Slovenia or organizing activities for people with disabilities in Croatia. In every project you meet new people, experience life in another country and learn new (work) skills. With us you will be well prepared for your trip. We offer all volunteers an information package and invite you to the information meeting in Nijmegen (or online). We require a Certificate of Good Conduct from all volunteers, which we provide free of charge. Accommodation and meals are provided by the project partner in exchange for your labor during a 1 to 3 week project. Longer is possible and we also offer projects for larger groups. Noord-Brabants Dazzling Dragartist

Organizing a provincial drag contest, coaching novice drag artists, organizing shows and events & social commitment takes a lot of time and effort & everything around it involves a lot. From devising and working on themes & assignments, to arranging sponsors, prizes, collaborations and organizing & supporting workshops/coaching to making promotional materials/letters and so on. We can use a lot of hands and creative people for this, both in front of and behind the scenes. And as volunteers but also within the organization and board. We are completely non-profit and try to be as cost-covering as possible. The organization has been working hard since it started two years ago and has grown considerably in a short period of time. Much of the work can be done from home, but every now and then we get together for a meeting. And the activities/events are held at various locations within North Brabant (but most in Breda, Tilburg and/or Eindhoven), so we do not have any costs for our own space, which benefits what we do. Does it appeal to you to contribute meaningfully to a nice day filling .... then register with the volunteer coordinator of Joannes Zwijsen, Anke Verdijk.
