Volunteer Population Care
In the event of a disaster or crisis, the Red Cross Population Care team is ready to provide assistance to those affected. The Red Cross supports municipalities with population care tasks, such as the evacuation and reception of residents after a fire or flood. Or the reception of people during a tragic event. You are their first point of contact, offer practical help and a listening ear. The Red Cross is looking for volunteers to strengthen the Population Care team. What do we ask of you? - You are helpful and willing to roll up your sleeves - You have good social skills, are stress-resistant and flexible - You are able to travel to the deployment location with your own transport when called - You have a first aid diploma or are willing to obtain one and you follow the basic Population Care course - You then follow the necessary additional training - You are flexible What do we offer you? - A good feeling, because you contribute to the work of the Red Cross - You get the chance to use your first aid knowledge and skills and keep them up to date - Various training courses and unlimited access to the online e-learning platform - You receive travel expenses and you are insured through the Red Cross while performing your task - The chance to increase your expertise and use/develop your talents Something for you?
