Will you be our new face? Hey! We are Hall of Fame/Ladybird Skatepark and we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer for the reception! About Hall of Fame and Ladybird Skatepark Hall of Fame and Ladybird Skatepark are two popular places in Tilburg that focus on young people and the skate and music culture. Hall of Fame is not just a music venue, it is a meeting place where the alternative subcultures of Tilburg and beyond come together in all their forms. This space offers a platform to emerging artists, from bands that are just crawling out of their practice rooms to artists that are ready to break through in their niche. Ladybird Skatepark is one of the leading indoor skateparks in the Netherlands. The skatepark offers skating lessons for young and old, from beginners to advanced. In addition, the skate café is a meeting place for skaters, parents and everyone who is interested in skateboarding as a sport and as a community. Both places often work together on events and projects, which makes them play an important role in the Tilburg youth and culture scene. To a large extent, they depend on volunteers, who contribute to keeping the organization and activities running. What will you do? As a receptionist, you are the first person visitors meet. You welcome everyone, answer phone calls and ensure that people end up in the right place. Your tasks include: - Receiving visitors - Answering and forwarding phone calls - Maintaining the Info-mail - Supporting the team with administrative tasks What do we expect from you? - You have an affinity with young people, concerts, and/or skateboarding - You can read and write Dutch well - Being customer-oriented and helpful is second nature to you - You know your way around computers (e-mail, Word, and a bit of Excel is a bonus) - You are social and friendly; after all, you are the first face people see!
